Repair & Installation of Fiberglass Pools

There are various types of pools that one can look at getting installed. These can either be completely customized or from an already existing mould. It’s important to think of not only what you are looking for. But also how much you are willing to spend.

Types of pools from Fibreglass Pools

The most common type of pool, whether we are doing installations or repairs, is fibreglass. Customer research in the past has shown that one of the lesser-known reasons for its popularity is that the pool appears warmer without having to look at installing a heating system.

These are also the most popular as they are pre-moulded, they are the cheapest when it comes to pools, and they require far less maintenance than concrete, vinyl, or marbelite pool. Fibreglass pools also have a lifespan of approximately 30 years, if not more.

Installation of fiberglass pools takes an average of two weeks. Some installations can take longer. Depending on the size of the pool, and therefore determining the size of the ground that needs to be dug up.

Cost-effective Fibreglass Pools

Marbelite pools are generally the most expensive. And because the marble surface is applied to complete the look, the weather needs to be perfect as this needs to be applied in one full day.

A concrete pool may seem more practical, but in fact, the lifespan is only approximately 10 years. An installation of a concrete pool can also take several weeks, even months, and requires the most maintenance.
